Here is the catalogue from my graduation display project, sharing the process of all three art dimensions being used in it, and the execution as well.
Started from a simple idea of making origamis, due to its usage in technology like robogamis. The original idea was to make them in 3D, but i want something with real life textures of paper imperfections, something that can show the fragility and duality of the technology (we have now AI), that is slowly turning more into manipulation, and controlling power, slowly taking our own thoughtful process, opinions and creativity.
Tested a lot of photographic ideas, and did stick with the dark shadowed and deep grunchy color scheme of forensic lighting with dark color psychology, which eventually added to the overall artistic value. And at the end, the material for the printing became the issue. Had to test on a lot of materials. The issue was the fading of the colors and lighting on different materials, and wanted something, at least not plain. Explored the One Way Vision (also known as perforated film) and again the result became a bit plain. And finally merged it on top of the canvas matt, to achieve the final results.
